Goodyear Dunlop tyres to confirm at Essen their concept AA graded tyre
Goodyear Dunlop has just recently made public their first concept tyre to win both A grades in rolling resistance and wet grip on the new dynamic EU tyre label.? The 2 conceptual tyres have been called the Goodyear Efficient Grip AA and the Dunlop Sport Bluresponse AA has been on show at the Essen motor show.
These unique new tyres have secured the highest possible ratings in both the wet grip performance test and the fuel efficiency test.? At first there was no indication on the third factors of road noise emitted but Goodyear tyres have also now confirmed that the Goodyear tyre will achieve only one wave on the new EU label and the Dunlop concept tyre has two making it a little noisier but this is because it is founded on a sportier tyre.
The company's long-term methodology for these concept tyres is to incorporate the state-of-the-art technology into their top green products the Goodyear Efficient Grip and Dunlop Sport Bluresponse. Goodyear Dunlop are extremely Dunlop Sport bluresponse this current attainment which they believe shows a serious technical advance by delivering better fuel usage and performance in the wet.
Dunlop Goodyear have stated it was an extremely difficult task to develop these unique concept tyres to achieve a-graded performance across all EU labelling standards while still maintaining high performance dry braking, speed stability and aquaplaning resistance.
The company has recognized that their most significant challenge now is to develop this technology into a realistic process which will work on a mass production level. Dunlop Goodyear has declared this still needs several more weeks of effort by their specialist engineers to be sure that when enhancing one area of performance no other safety areas affected by the changes.
Goodyear was founded in 1898, and Dunlop in 1889. In 1999 they came together to create Goodyear Dunlop. And with history demonstrating leading edge technical innovations that made them successful individually, together they are part of one of the world's largest tyre manufacturers, with over 69,000 associates worldwide, presence on 6 continents and net sales of $19 billion.
